Tales of the wanderer

Unfiltered travel stories through the eyes of a part time traveller/part time hobbit.

Hi there, I’m Ine.

I’m a photographer, a wife, and part time traveller/part time hobbit (meaning I love camping in the Australian outback, sleeping under the stars of the Sahara, and exploring Tanzania by horseback, but I will also starte at you in disbelief if you expect me to leave the house past 6 PM on a weeknight).

After my life was turned upside down by chronic illness three years ago, my husband and I pledged to stop putting our dreams on hold, and start booking them instead. Since then, travel has taken center stage in our DINK lives. Whilst our friends are building families, we are finding our way in a different life: one centered around our marriage, our dogs, and collecting more stamps in our passports.

If you’re a fellow DINK, or your perfect kind of travel also combines glamping in the Serengeti and sipping champagne on an Italian rooftop, you’re in the right place.
